DIY Madness

Hello,

It’s Thursday again, how time flies!

Think about it, what is better then a cold watermelon on a hot humid day? Spiked cold watermelon juice of course! Found a dandy DIY jewel in this one, pefect for those BBQ sessions in summer or an outdoor wedding where guest can help themselves to some spiked juice. Yum yum, now I want one too.

DIY: Alcoholic Watermelon Juice

So tempting! I know my mum would love this, she just loves anything that has to do with flowers. Perfect to add a little shabby chic to your wedding. Or to make it a littler more elegant you can use the flowers like the one below and then fasten em to make  amore vogue fascinator. What do you think?

DIY: Floral Fascinators

DIY: Silk Flowers

Since we are on the subject of facinators I found a quirky take on it from Offbeat Bride

For a more classic take on this one could replace the feathers with thinner and  softer feathers (almost transparent), replace the blue feather with silver ribbon and replace the flower with a diamond or pearl brooch.

DIY: Feathery Fascinator

Below is another goodie from Offbeat Bride. Totally my style! I wonder if I should rock the birdcage veil. Hmm, I do have my heart set on a long lacy veil though. Ah! Decisions, decisions, decisions!

DIY: Birdcage veil

Since I am on the track for DIY hair accessories I guess we should end on that note. Below is a few of my favorite ’hair bling’ post from Style Me Pretty. Hopefully this will inspire you and give you more ideas into creating the perfect ‘hair bling’ for your special occasion.
